First off, to update from the last one:

Sorted out all the problems with my friend. Was all cool, and we're back to our drunken ways.

Didn't get the job at Phi-Ten. Never mind. Didn't really care. Although would have been nice to get some of their stuff - but a bit too expensive.

Finished Summoner, finally - two endings, one you can choose to become a god, the other you just continue your journey. Thankfully, they give you a chance to save just before then, so you can see either one.

Am currently playing Final Fantasy 7, which is, like every FF game, damn fun. And, like every Final Fantasy game, it's going to take me ages to complete because I just have to complete every single little side-quest. I'm also currently playing Golden Sun on the Game Boy Advance, and that's great too.

Until last weekend, I hadn't been to training for two weeks, as I had shows - was at FWA Vendetta three Sundays back, and at IPW:UK Weekend Of Champions two back. All good events, particularly IPW:UK, which I now consider my home fed. FWA also showing a good return to their old format which pleased most people. Unfortunately (and yet fortunately at the same time), that means I am no longer backstage interviewer, as FWA are no longer doing WWE-style segments, but I am now timekeeper (or rather ring-whacker [there was no bell, so I had to whack the ringpost with a spanner]), which means I get to watch all the matches.

Anyway, last weekend I finally got myself back to training, this time at RBW's new venue in East London. Bloody horrible. Not through any fault of Brad, who arranged the venue, but it was ridiculously difficult to get to, and Adam Mumford was bloody cheeky, initially telling us there'd be in-ring training; when I got there, Brad, Adam and I were the only people there who could put up the ring, and neither Brad nor myself had put one up before, so we could only do as Adam told us. But then Jason Sensation and Alex "Romeo" Jones showed up, told us the ring wasn't set up properly, and spent half the training session taking it down and putting it up again. They finished it with an hour and a half to go, at which point Adam said that the Advanced session would be learning how to take a ring down, move it and set it up somewhere else, i.e. set up the ring in the hall where the show was meant to take place that evening! Fucking cheeky.

After that, I had to be at IPW:UK's New Territory event in Essex, but I heard later on that Adam had told Andy Simmons, "Bulldozer" Carl Clinton and Drew MacDonald not to bother coming to the show, and proceeded with the show with only five wrestlers on the card! So not only has he pissed off yet another three workers who probably won't work for him again, he's put on a show (in front of 12 people) that has damaged RBW's rep for good. I don't expect to see them in business by Easter next year.

As a result, I've been looking for new training schools in London, of which there aren't many. Dropkixx is too far, FWA: SL I could get to, although Alex went there and came back to RBW after two months, saying that the trainees there were obnoxious towards anybody who wasn't there from the start, and that the trainers weren't there half the time, leaving it up to the senior trainee.

On a more positive note, I've got an audition tomorrow, which, if I get the job, will mean that I get at least £4,500, plus travel expenses, plus spending money each night, plus accommodation in a 4/5* hotel! So I've got to be at my best.

Other minutiae: currently re-reading "Feersum Enjinn" by Iain M. Banks, and I've been thinking about adopting Skull Murphy's Gator Clutch as a finisher.

Well, better get going. Hope you enjoyed my ramblings again. I know it's more of a chronicle than thoughts, and probably doesn't compare with the UKFF's Sickboy's blog, but it's the best I've got at the moment.
